Frequently asked questions
Does it also create rainbows on cloudy or shaded windows?
Direct sunlight is necessary for the best effect. On cloudy days or north-facing windows, it creates a gentle shimmer, but south- and west-facing windows offer the brightest and most colorful displays.
How do I hang it? Are hooks included?
The chain ends in a loop for easy hanging from any small hook, suction cup, or nail. Hooks are not included but can be purchased inexpensively at a hardware store.
Can I use it outdoors?
It is best suited for indoor use. Outdoors, wind can damage the crystal and sunlight can fade the chain. Covered porches are an exception.
